I grew up in Salt Lake, and been saving this (in protected storage) for a long time. I had a few very rare original Wintersticks which I have sold over the past few years, but this is the one I was going to keep. Well, with a new baby, time to pass it along to another keeper. The last of my collection, and it's not an easy decision. I had a reputable Winterstick enthusiast look it over in SLC recently and he gave it an 8+/9- grade. The base and side walls are in superb condition. Side walls on this early model do not have metal edges, making it even rarer to find one with clean smooth non-dented edges. NO dings or major wear areas. It has been drilled with a few typical small binding holes, but that's it, the top deck looks amazing. The unique deck dimples prove it's early original authenticity. I put a small roundtail skeg on the bottom (not the big skeg - but I can help you find one of these if you care). "Winterstick" graphic and logo in beautiful shape. The black coloration is superb.
